The MMRD Work Academy Program is a dynamic 2-week initiative designed exclusively for ambitious young professionals in their careers. Our program focuses on nurturing integrity and essential work-related skills through a blend of comprehensive in-class lessons. Participants will be able to enhance their learning journey with additional homework. To enrich the experience, we're honoured to host distinguished HR professionals via Zoom, facilitating connections with potential employers and uncovering promising talents for their companies. In essence, our program empowers Young Upcoming Staff to cultivate integrity and vital workplace skills and gaining the respect and acknowledgement from their companies.

How Does the Programme Work?

The MMRD Work Academy Program operates through a structured and engaging process that aims to empower the young work force like Gen Z and millennial participants in their career development journey. Here's how the program typically works:

  1. Enrollment: Interested individuals apply and enroll in the program. This could involve submitting an application form, meeting eligibility criteria, and possibly undergoing a selection process.

  2. Orientation: Participants receive an orientation that outlines the program's objectives, schedule, expectations, and available resources. This ensures everyone starts on the same page.

  3. In-Class Lessons: The core of the program involves a series of in-class lessons covering topics related to integrity, work-related skills, and professional development. These lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and informative.

  4. Assignments (Optional): Participants may have the option to take on additional assignments that provide practical exercises to reinforce learning. These assignments may include case studies, projects, or research tasks.

  5. Learn & Earn Program (Optional): Some participants can choose to participate in the Learn & Earn program which would require them attend the academy full time throughout the Programme month. This hands-on experience allows them to apply their learning in real-world scenarios, potentially earning a minimal stipend or recognition for their efforts.

  6. Guest HR Professionals: Renowned HR professionals join the program via Zoom sessions. These sessions offer insights into industry trends, recruitment practices, and valuable advice for participants' career paths.

  7. Networking Opportunities: Throughout the program, participants can interact with fellow participants, instructors, and guest professionals, fostering networking and relationship-building opportunities.

  8. Skill Development: The program focuses on developing skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and ethical decision-making. Interactive activities, group discussions, and practical exercises support skill enhancement.

Throughout the program, participants engage in a holistic learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application and real-world insights. How long does the Programme last? 

The programme comprises of 16 classes each 3 hours long twice a week over a 4 week period. Classes will start at 8am to 11:30am every Tuesday and Thursday. The next upcoming class will start on Monday 4th of December 2023. 

What do you need to do to successfully fulfil the Programme?

To successfully fulfill the MMRD Work Academy Program, we recommend following these steps:

  1. Active Participation: Engage actively in all in-class lessons, discussions, and activities. Take the opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and learn from peers.

  2. Complete Assignments: If you opt for additional assignments, ensure you complete them on time. These assignments are designed to deepen your understanding and practical application of the concepts learned.

  3. Learn & Earn Program: If you choose to participate in the Learn & Earn program, actively take part in the designated activities. This hands-on experience will help you connect theory with real-world scenarios.

How much does the Programme Cost?

The Total Cost of the MMRD Work Academy programme 775,000 Kyats (Seven Hundred & Seventy Five Thousand). Payable on entry acceptance selection of the programme to MMRD account with KBZ, CB and AYA bank. The Deadline for enrollment is Friday 22nd September. Early enrollment is advised as the programme is only open to 20 students.
